Good ridance ugly ass woodgrain trim pieces!
 
Finally got around to covering the ugly wood trim pieces in the 07' WK with some CF vinyl. I ordered 2'x4' sheet of the CF vinyl figuring I'd make a few mistakes along the way. Good thing too, as some of the pieces had to be done two or three times till I got the hang of working with the stuff. It isn't really hard to work with but there is definitely a learning curve to getting it right.

All in all, I'd say things didn't turn out half bad. :pimp:

nice bro. yeah the wood grain gets real old fast. thats better looking than the OEM carbon pieces id easily say.:thumbsup:

That looks great! I would consider doing something like this, but I actually like my Laredo's "diamond plate" trim pieces. I just wish there was something I could do with my side vents...

NICE!!!!!!!! it look 1000X better IMO classy not too much very nice!!!! One question what kind of squgee is that??? why does it have the black end like that??

nicely done!!! i ordered some white cf di-noc and tried gettin rid of my cheap lookin wood grain shit.... but i gave up on the center piece and ripped it all off too many curves to get just right espescially getting it flush along the sides of the vents (all one piece)......maybe i will try again any tips....
