Where to buy Window Regulators

I need to replace two window regulators in my 2002 Jeep G.C.Laredo. I have found them advertised on two websites, Car Stuff and Auto Parts Train, which I understand are basically the same company.

Any experience with their "Replacement" brand of window regulators?
They claim a one-year warranty, but I don't know how good these regulators may be.

I want to try to replace these regulators myself but I don't want to do the job again in a very short period of time.

Any other recommendations of where to buy these regulators?

Also, where can I find a Jeep Manual for my WJ?

there arent many choices. salvage is a bit risky especially since regulators are known problem area. but could try car-part.com for salvage if you wish.

Go to napa or advanced auto or whatever parts store and buy one for 70-150$ tops and put it in. It's not hard. I did two so far. One on a 99 wj front driver side and one on a 2001 wj pasanger front. Save a lot of money then finding a new one at a dealer or a junker at a salvage yard.

I donīt know what exactly the problem with your regulators is, but most of the time only a small plastic part which hold the window pane in place will break. There is a metal replacement available. Check out some previous threads about this.

Re: Where to buy Window Regulators

I have changed a total of 3 regulators in a year time. My front passenger door died and the window fell. I checked out the local dealer prices and it was 300 for an OEM one so I decided to get a cheap aftermarket one as a replacement. Big mistake , it died within 5 months. Decided to bite the bullet and go OEM (had no choice since I need that window fully closed and secure). My drivers front door died (cable popped) and changed it to OEM as well. Luckily for you you don't need to spend 300 bucks like me because Robpp pointed me to Mopar Parts America, they advertise for 194 although I could have sworn I saw their prices at 160 at one point (insert year and model as well as window regulator):
