Carbon Fibre...the reveal

I'm finally finished, well for now anyway:D.

Here's the final installment of pics for you guys. I will post more once I've finished tinting my windows (damn that's a PITA job!)

Enjoy...

^^You'll see a slight bubble in the rear door strip. This is due to an existing blister in the weatherstrip (lazy I know)

Should look a lot better once my windows are done:thumbsup: It took about two hours or so to complete what was left, as I spent the first half hour wiping cat sh*t from my shoes, as someone's moggy had taken several dumps outside my workshop!

Sweet maryjane that's a lot of CF vinyl! Looks real nice too.

You going to coat the rear bumper piece in some sort of clear coat? I am thinking about covering my ashy rear pad with some vinyl but am a little worried it won't stand up the to wear and tear of getting stuff in and out of the rear hatch. be sure to let us know how it holds up for you.

thanks guys.
Yeah Joe, I covered my rear step thinking it would stop it from getting so ashy, but it doesn't make much difference. It seems to be holding up very well though. I've had a few heavy loads dragged in and out over the last couple of weeks. I never thought about clear coating it, that sounds like a good idea. I've got plenty spare. I'll give it a try and see how it goes.

3M Di noc vinyl. Basically cut it to slightly oversized, use hairdryer or heatgun to stretch it. There's a few good clips on youtube:thumbsup:

I was in two minds, but my weatherstripping looks like sh*t, plus I had all these thin strips left over, so thought why not?
