How Much Should I pay??? Overland 2011

I am going to the Jeep dealer to order my 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland only option I'm getting is the HEMI 5.7 I need to agree to the price and give a deposit to get the VON (vehicle order number) Does anyone have any advice I how much have people paid under the MSRP to date??? Not sure what negotiating power I have. I don't want to pay more than I should. Please any information is valuable any model that anyone has ordered. Have people paid MSRP or what discount off MSRP. The economy is still not great I figured there should be some room to wiggle.

Advice please??? I figured I might as well before I have to put money into my 2005 Laredo X package with 46 K miles original brakes and tires, before I replace thoose I figured I'd buy new.

Any and all advice would be appreciated. Milous any advice??? Your info is golden.

Welcome to Jeep garage. Firstly, these type of questions would be answered very quickly if in the WK2 forum.. Im sure a MOD will move it, however head on over to

http://www.jeepgarage.org/f73/

and post the same write up. Secondly just so your aware... once you do order your Overland, If your a JeepGarage Supporter, Milous as you mentioned, tracks your Jeep through the whole build process and gives you a build sheet print out when built via PDF (Priceless).

In regards to the Vehicle.. Great choice, I ordered one back on the 31st of July.. I paid under MSRP, Invoice actually (I am friends with a person who works there), so depending on your dealer, you have the power to negotiate. There really are no good incentives yet else your coming out of a lease... The longer you wait, more will come and a greater discount can be had usually.

Welcome again!

NP as you'll see in the WK2 forum, depending on dealer, getting Invoice or slightly over isn't impossible nor very hard if in a competitive region.

My custom Ordered Overland comes in one the 29th of this month! I suggest that you go to KBB.com and go to new cars. you can fill out the year, make, modle, options, and all that stuff. it then gives you the invoice amount (the amount the dealer paid for the car) and it gives you the MSRP. So for example, I got a 2011 Overland with the 5.7lt Hemi. the invoice is $42,540. the MSRP is $45,315. so the mark-up is $2,775. usually a solid offer if $1000 over invoice. I offered $43,540. got free floor matts, and the chrome running boards thrown in for $400 for the set, installed.

At this time in the market you should be able to Get an Overland at or below invoice with little or no trouble since there is a 1350.00 dollar holdback already on Overlands.

Yes, with all Overlands. I ordered with an agreement of 500 below invoice (41,500) plus any rebates or programs offered at time of delivery.

I used an Auto buyers agent for $600. He got me mine ordered for Invoice less half the holdback and no dealer prep or other fee, outside of processing title and registration for a couple dollars.
