Overheating :(

Hey guys I have a 2004 and it is overheating, and my fan is really loud and shakes my steering wheel. Any ideas?

Water pump maybe? That would make the fan wobble with a worn/bad water pump..

Re: Overheating :(

I replaced the water pump like 4 months ago but maybe it was a crappy one?

I cant imagine it went bad that quickly, however you never know.. But it would be best to have someone take a quick look, its hard to see the issue without physically seeing it. GL though!

Re: Overheating :(

Whats a T stat?

There is no coolant anywhere I have checked over and over

Re: Overheating :(

Tstat= Thermostat. Sometimes they can get stuck closed, or half open, thus when the car calls for an open thermostat based on the temp its supposed to fully open, and its not fully opening, you would have an overheating issue.

Re: Overheating :(

Thermostat (T-Stat). Like in your House there's a Thermostat to tell the Unit to turn on to cool your house. The Thermostat in your Jeep with cycle the coolant through the Radiator and a Fan is behind it and it will cool your engine. Maye you T-Stat is stuck closed. Replace it and see what happens. Just go to Advanced Auto Parts and ask for one.

Do you have Coolant? Lol. Maybe your Radiator is clogged! Also check your Radiator Cap.

How many miles do you have on the Jeep? When was the last time that you had a Coolant Flush?

Just trying to help! I can't think of anything else. I hope someone chimes in!

Maybe it's time for a coolant flush.
