Possably a simple answer?
Thinking about replacing my Grand Caravan with a grand Cherokee(Thinking 2wd)
Have driven a few 4x4 and didn't like the top heavy feel.
But the other day i drove a gc 202 and it was firm and good.
what year did they go independent front suspention?
Would that be what i'm feeling as a better ride?
Re: Possably a simple answer?
They went to IFS in 2005, you probably just finally drove one with good shock absorbers.
The factory shocks only last about 60k miles and when replaced with good aftermarket ones improve the ride and handling a lot.
Also the Laredo models came with 225/75/16 tires. When replaced with 245/70/16 tires that were available on the Limited model, the Jeep will hold the road a lot better.
