Whats The Biggest Tire WITHOUT A Lift For The WK?

I was looking at some Destination ATs for my winter set up and was wondering what the biggest size I can put on WITHOUT a lift is?

Thanks!

I would say 255/70/17 which is about 31.1 i believe, with that size you should not have any rubbing at full lock and you will be far from the upper ball joint bolt.
I really like the reviews on the Bridgestone Revo's, something to consider as well.. it's pretty nice on ice and mud.

Yes, that size is stock JK wrangler size and they will fit on fine, Might have to trim that "bolt" on the upper control arms but that wont hurt anything.

Yes, the other size is the Non rubicon JK i think. Rubicons had 32s others had 31s stock.

Dueller Revo is hands down a great tire. If i dont get my Nokians i am going to get Revos.

Check out the Nokian WRG2, its a year round tire but excels in snow.

I am thinking of getting these or the standard Nokian WR SUV tire.

Check out the ones above. Both are supposed to be great in the snow but the WRG2 is supposed to be amazing.

Not a problem, i just like to share the wealth. Some times its good to deviate from the masses and try something different. I am hoping to get the WR SUV tire for my year round tires in a 255/65/17 or a 275/60/16, i just need to find out if the 275 will fit. its only .5" taller but its almost 1" wider then stock. The 255 is a tiny bit bigger in all directions but its a 99% guaranteed fit.

Use the tire size calculator that stickied in the Grand cherokee section. You can put in your size vs the new size and it will give you the % difference. Its very minimal with the two sizes i listed. about 1.5% difference.

Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference
245/65-17 6.3in 14.8in 29.5in 92.8in 683 0.0%
255/65-17 6.5in 15.0in 30.1in 94.4in 671 1.7%

The last number is the % difference. They all just moved down for some reason.

Here is the link just scroll down.
