there are also a set of 6K HID bulbs for the low beams and a set of 3K HID bulbs for my fogs. I should have them installed by the end of the week. Will post installed pics then.

Re: present for my WJ

will do will do. Looking for some assistance, a person that has already installed these would be a great help. I am no good with a multimeter.
So I am looking for someone who could tell me which wires I am going to want to tap into to accomplish having the halos go on steady with the parking lights. And for the LEDs on the side I am debating betwene having them flash with the signals or just having them come on with the parking lights also. Obviously if I am going to have them come on steady I can just tap the same wires I did for the halos, but if I wanted them to flash with the turn signals which wire would I tap? thanks in advance

wish i could help...the most i could say is just look for the wire that are going to your parking light now, if there are 3, the green one is usually for the turn, and the black is ground, and the other is for the parking light..good luck!

Re: present for my WJ

true thanks. I haven't started the install, but I got this pic off www.wjjeeps.com
http://www.wjjeeps.com/lamps/headlightrem3a.jpg
and it looks like the inner light closest to grille has 3 wires or maybe only has 2 hard to tell (signal). The center light has 2 wires (parking light) and the outer light has 2 wires (signal).
So if I want to make the LEDS and the Halos steady just tap the hot wire for either of the parking lights?

Re: present for my WJ

inner light does have 3 wires, the black, with purple line is the parking signal...IMO you should tap one halo into there, and tap the other halo into the other parking signal, this way they will be bright...good luck!

Edit: for the LEDs, just tap into one of them...might as well do the low beam halo and LEDs together, since you wont really notice if the low beam halo is bright when u have the lows on...thats just the complex way of how i think lol..

Re: present for my WJ

Ah I gotcha. thanks for your help bro. So if there are 3 wires to that inner bulb, 1 is ground 1 is parking signal, and 3rd is?
So basically if I tap power seperately for each of the halos they will be brighter then if I got power for both of them from the same source?

Re: present for my WJ

the third is for the turn signal...and ur correct, if you connect too many lights to one source, it will be 1) dimmer than connecting to multiple sources, and 2) you could possibly blow a fuse, depending on how many amps that source can take...many others probably connect to just one, but its better to be safe than sorry...BTW you are gonna be using Quick splice taps right?? its the best way, and you keep your stock wiring in tact...Glad to help!

Re: present for my WJ

makes perfect sense to me now. The larger fog lights that I installed on my brushguard I actually had on my show galant (well actually another set, as those were mounted upsidedown and the drainholes filled with water haha) but those have halos too, and when I had installed on my galant I tapped those together, and then got the power from 1 source for the both of them. But it makes much more sense to get them from different places, especially since the wires are located right at them. And yes I will definitely be using the quick splice taps, makes like easier, and don't have to worry about cutting up factory wiring. Thanks again
