Re: My coil over before and after

Added pics. Still working on set up. Back is good at 31 1/4 from ground to fender. Does not bottom out even with boat in tow and going through construction with lots of bridge transitions. Just got the fronts on 9/12/10. Still need to adjust the fronts a little lower and tighten up the damper. The fronts are too soft but not bouncy and do bottom out when hit hard. I hopefully will have them set by the weekend and then off for an alignment. The fronts can be adjusted without taking off the tire but you do have to undo sway bar link and coil over from the top to raise or lower. The backs need to get have the tire removed and then take the weight off the hi/low piece.

My bottom bolt was rusted in place. We needed to bend the tab on the bolt back and hit it with an impact gun to get it out. Also, the damper tools are too short once installed in the Jeep. You might want to pre set them before you put them in or buy a longer than 3 3/4in 3mm hex key. I notified K sport about the issue. We will see what they do. I found a 9" one at Grainger.com for $3.

Family comes first. Don't worry, we still have yours and T-time's(Jeff) to do. Those lower bolts are a bitch after 4 years.

Hey Chad! Can you post some side shots of the Jeep when you get a chance?

Thanks!
