Vibrating noise 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Hi there, when slowly pulling up, my brand new 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee makes a loud vibrating noise for a couple of seconds, somewhere around the steering column. Jeep garage checked everything but couldn't find it. So air flow when driving creates it. They did not yet take the car outside for a test ride to simulate the problem. When driving uphill or steering in any direction, noise tends to get louder. Anybody an idea of what could cause this annoying noise? Thanks so much!

x2 on that tsb.
i complained and complained and my dealer said they couldn't replicate. finally i resorted to asking about the tsb specifically. they didnt even know about that until i said something.
dealerships are as dumb as the rest of us with the wk2 as of now. i saw this in purchase and service so far.

Re: Vibrating noise 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee

I have the 2011 Overland and was back and forth to the dealer 3 times before they finally pinpointed the vibration that I was having on left hand turns. It was a vibration that felt like it was right under the driver floorpan. They could replicate it but couldn't diagnose it. The 4th visit they had ordered a new front differential and were ready to do the swap when they decided to place a microphone under the car during driving to record the sound.

It tuned out to be an exhaust pipe that was incorrectly mounted. The pipe angles were off just a bit and on left hand turns the pipe would hit the floorpan when the engine torqued. Was a simple fix after that and all is well now.
