Canadian Dealer Invoice Prices??

I want to say that I have been viewing this forum for about 2 weeks now and it is a wonderful place for knowledge and all things Jeep.

I am planning to purchase/order a 2011 Overland soon. I am wondering if anyone has insight into the invoice pricing for Canada? Knowing what the dealer pays can help when negotiating price. Thx.

Based on the US vs Canadian prices, I plan to buy mine in Michigan and import (drive) it over. It's a simple process but I haven't checked the warranty implications as yet.

For major warranty work... yes I could.
Having owned 3 GC's over the past 16 years, all of my major expenses occured after the warranty period.

Here are details about importing a car. It looks too complicated to go through this for a car where you have a max 7k difference which migh be less than 5k when you factor the exchange rate (7k is the difference between an Overland 50k in Canada vs 43k in US). I read an article that if you buy a Porsche (Porsche 911 Canadian price 235,400 vs US price 136,000 ) you might have a lot of motivation to go through this. Let us know how much you save ...

It's very easy and I did import a car in July 2007 from Michigan. A $7000 savings on a Jeep is significant. You're right though, you will save more on a Porsche.
(BTW, a Cd$235,000 Porsche will not cost only US$136,000.)
