Aftermarket Lug Nuts for my HRE's?

So here are the wheels I am buying...

http://i645.photobucket.com/albums/u...2/IMG_1083.jpg

I want to get some lug nuts for them. Please post a link if you know if a good deal, or info if you know of a good company/make/brand. I also want them to have locking capabilities...and recommendations there? And with the finish of these wheels what do you think will look best: Black, Matte black, Charcoal or polished/stainless? Any opinions are welcomed...

If worse comes to worse the guy I bought the wheels from said the OEM lugs work. Can anyone confirm this? TIA

For the love of god do not stick with the OEM's. If they are like the crappy ones I have (which are plastic covers), I would change asap if your going with aftermarket wheels. Im currently dealing with a stripped nut thats completely rounded off and will not come off no matter what tools are used. My last resort is drilling it out

Anyway, in terms of brand the two that immediately come to mind are Mcgard and Gorilla. I know Gorilla has a product called "The system" in which every lug is a wheel lock and uses a special key. That might be something you'd like espcially since you have HRE's. Not sure of part # though.

Thanks for the info Chuck...mine are def not cheap, and the guy I bought the wheels from used the OEM lugs off an 09 SRT8 over the ones HRE sent him. IDK mine seem quality but who the fawk knows...hopefully someone else can chime in. Any difference in OEM lugs on an 08+ limited?

Anyone know the thread #'s????? I need to order these ASAP...+ rep for first link with product and good pricing :)

HAHA +rep for myself

so I need some help here guys...I like the anodized black ones in the link above. How can I determine if my wheels have small diameter lug nut holes or not? Seems these are for aftermarket wheels but IDK if that means all or some...+ rep for first confirmation/or finalized info :)

They seem small in the pics...anyone else think the same?

any of the lugs on those pages will work fine for your wheels. take ur pic. i do not recommend using stock lugs, plus the black lugs with those wheels will look tiiiiight

I have the Gorilla lock system which requires a chuck to remove all of the lugs - works great and great quality.

Sativa is the best :)

for sure the spline's will work? this blurb below scares me into thinking they are not "small"

**Lug nuts are intended for use with aftermarket wheels only. (Tuner wheels or wheels with very small lug nut holes.)

That is off of their website. Do I need to call HRE? Or like you said, they will for sure work and just order them?

if the previous owner used his stock SRT lugnuts...then you can too. The SRT lugs are the exact same. I got some black Mcgard lugs and locks from amazon.com Theres a bunch of posts here about the black lugs with part #'s etc.

Re: Aftermarket Lug Nuts for my HRE's?

^^ true...but I get the feeling he was blowing $moke up my a$$...he just prolly lost the lugs from HRE

So the 1/2-20 is the important measurement here?

when you receive the wheels.....pull one of your lugs off and check it with the HRE's....then order accordingly. Amazon.com has many shipping options....I ordered mine and received them the next day.

I just called HRE and they are emailing me the info I need and the set/pricing they have. Good call prolly should jsut wait...I just didn't want to have to wait on lug nuts to put the wheels on. Thanks Scott

Re: Aftermarket Lug Nuts for my HRE's?

well...if you dont trust what the seller tells you...then you will have to wait till you get the wheels. The lug holes look pretty similar to the wk/srt lug holes...but thats really impossible to tell from the pics. maybe you could take some mesurements of your lug holes and the HRE lug holes. The problem with tuner wheels and the reason they need tuner lugs...is the lug holes are narrow because they have multiple offsets or drilled for multiple offsets. These are not tuner wheels.....so I think the stock lugs will be fine. But its really just a guess by your pics...
