Damn, those do look pretty nice. I woulda liked a set on my old ZJ as well.

I agree with you on the principle that ZJ's are often ignored with respect to aftermarket parts. However, I think those lights would look out of place on a ZJ. I don't think I would put them on my Niner.

IDK...I'm wondering why they appear to be 1pc (with sig attached) I might like them on my niner just for a different look...or more likely on a K9 transport for the light upgrade. (I like my niner just as it is)

What do you mean you are wondering why? They ARE one-piece lights. They replace the 3-piece headlight/corner/bumper light setup with a single light. I think that is actually kinda neat. I always hated the 3-piece setup.

However, that would mean that the only thing holding the light on are those friction fittings for the headlight. The last set of ebay lights I had didn't hang on very well. Overall, I've found that the quality of these ebay specials are very poor. My brother had similar sets of lights for his newer dodge and chevy pickups and the quality was terrible. The halos burned out, the beam pattern was whack, and fitment was just overall poor. Not to mention that the aiming system was cumbersome, at best. My experience has taught me that you should stay away from these lights.

The other thing I don't like about these lights is how they separated the high and low beams. It's not such a bad thing unless you are like me and have HID's. At the very least, I'd have to get new bulbs as it looks like the low beams are H3. I'd have to mount new ballasts and get new H1 bulbs if I wanted the high beams to be HID as well. And then, you get into the same thing as I have on my SRT8 - the high beams are essentially useless due to the warm up time. One of the coolest things about the stock ZJ (w/ HID's anyways) is that it uses an H4 bulb for both hi's and lo's. Thus, the bulb is already warmed up when you flick on the high beams - the bulb just moves to change the pattern. Your high beams are completely functional.

Like I said, that last paragraph is really only applicable if you are running HID's. If not, they'd probably be fine. I'd like to see someone else buy them and review them. 4 months ago I might have done this but I dropped $200+ on some e-codes so I ain't excited about dropping $250 on some lights I'm relatively sure I wouldn't like.

All that said, I do think it's cool that some company went to the time and effort to make a mainstream projector setup for ZJ's.

Those lights are hideous. Sorry Marcus. They kill the whole look of the Jeep. Maybe if it was a projector without the LED's and Halo's.

I defer to the expert...I was wondering why they made them in one piece. Its kinda hard to tell anything from a photo regarding quality. I have no experience with aftermarket lamps like these, or with halos and projectors. In fact I didn't even know you could take WK lamps apart by baking them in the oven, until I started following these Jeep forums a few months ago. I also thought they looked kinda neat, but I would be pissed if I installed them and the leds burnt out in a couple of months. ( I would be really pissed if I slammed on the breaks one day and the lamps kept goin' ) I also agree that it's neat someone made this lamp for the ZJ and when they went south because of substandard components, guys like you and Robpp could take them apart and show the rest of us how to upgrade the guts

Really?

Weren't you asking about lifting your ZJ in another thread? I think that is where they would look their worst. I admit that if you had some ground-pounding, lowered, street racing ZJ that they might look okay on that. However, I think a jacked-up ZJ running mud tires would look like it was having questions about its sexuality with those lights.

They look like complete crap.

Wouldn't touch those with a 10' pole.

Sorry Marcus.
