no i have one. I just need to interface it with my aftermarket stereo. I got the little "universal module" and the BUS that goes to the head unit. I just refuse to run a second antenna.

as you said, wkjeeps showed where the factory box is.

get in there and I put my new universal tuner right next to the factory one, the antenna wire plugged right into the NEW sirius box.

then i ran wires to behind the dash where I put my Pioneer/Sirius interface.

Usually the connector that plugs into the universal box is different than the one that plugs into the factory sat box. But if it does, SWEEET!!

the antenna wires switched over perfectly. we literally pulled the connector out the factory box and it clicked right in. then I ran NEW wires from the sat tuner to the front where I had my Pioneer Sirius interface mounted behind the dash. running a wire from the sat box to the front is too easy. just be careful with the BIG PIECE of trim that goes from the hatch to the side door. my installer cracked that piece. it was a hundo to replace that dang piece.
the rest of the trim going from side door front door. it all just pulls right up.

Re: Stock sirius antenna?

which wire did you run to the front Rob? is it the antenna wire? or the one that goes to the BUS? the one i got with the tuner is like 2 feet long... i need an extension.

while you're here rob. i got a PAC steering wheel interface and the thing is telling me i need another module to interface with the controls? is this true? i couldnt find anywhere to splice wires.

sirius:

my new tuner came with a harness that I ran to the Pioneer Interface, which is behind the glove compartment.

like i posted, the antenna cable from the roof plugged directly into my new sirius box in the back'.

i bought everything PAC. ill get you the parts. there was some notes somewhere like you said BUT they were wrong with the parts I had. I only needed the one interface,.

i have this
http://www.amazon.com/PAC-SWI-PS-Pio.../dp/B000AXW7SA

and then my main harness is this one:

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...R-CHY4v1-.html

on the main harness page is this note:

The PAC C2R-CHY4 allows for the installation of an aftermarket radio in 2005-2009 Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge vehicles utilizing the CAN Bus data system. The C2R-CHY4 is packaged with both Chrysler harnesses for an all-in-one radio replacement solution. The interface provides a data controlled accessory output wire and all the necessary output wires for a navigation radio install. When retaining the use of the factory steering wheel controls, the C2R-CHY4 provides a SWC Output connector for direct plug and play connectivity to all SWI-modules (SWI-X, SWI-JACK, SWI-PS, SWI-ECL2).
Replacement interface harness for select Chrysler vehicles with CAN Bus
Compatible with amplified or non-amplified systems
No longer requires the use SWI-CAN Module to retain steering wheel controls Retain Accessory Power (RAP) 12V Output
