KlutcH's Airaid 3.5" Cold Air Intake

Hey Guys, its been awhile since I posted. Been busy and had some issues to deal with, got over it, so I'm back.

Today just finished a mod, I'm really really happy with it and I spent a lot of time trying to get it "just right". Lets put it this way LOL....Joe used and abused it haha. I sanded out the rust on the metal filter housing, and bought myself a new filter just because I wanted the "new" look and lastly bought new weather stripping. I spent countless hours sanding, grinding, primering, painting, coating with clear. It was fun and a major learning experience.

I would like to thank Joe (Robert Palmer) for the AMAZING price on his used airaid intake and 180 tstat and maxst2 for helping me out all weekend through bbm on painting tips. I have progress photos, but I'm not sure if people wanna see them.

However, here is the final product. My custom Airaid intake, and painted strut bar.

:)

Pictures don't do it justice!! And I'm glad to be back guys!

Thanks Homie!!

I'm actually upset...same thing happened with max, I shut my hood and it hit the strutbar scratching it up a little bit.

oh well!

I never used the tstat, its way to cold out here and I didn't feel like having to worry about warming up longer in winter.

It can get up to -40 degrees F here, and I don't wanna put the tstat in, until I possibly get a diablo.

Thanks Scott....

I was debating....should I paint all the yellow stuff orange? or go with chrome billet?

Billet Tech refuses to make orange billet :(
