oem shock quality
 
just changed out the oem rears for the bilstein hd's. the oem's had 11k on them....one of them was completely dead the other was at 85%. come on chrysler...that is s h i t quality.

yea my front struts went completely out at 35k, they suck!

dont forget the washer that goes under the plate on the front struts hahahaha i did and have to re do them again

Ok guys stupid question here ... but how do you know when they had failed exactly? Also whould you consider it a wear item like brake pads and wipers?

well on mine the front was super soft and bouncy going over speed bumps and on the high way. i would get like 2.5 bounces in the front over bumps now i get non

what he said and just the general floaty feeling you get when driving ... just replace them regardless

well I realize my mod included the springs... but what a world of difference between OEM shocks/struts and the WK bilsteins HD's. wow... I love my new suspension mod!!!

I can't even believe they would put those struts/shocks on a stock jeep. Pathetic. I changed mine out within 3k to the HD bilsteins. Love them. Never looked back! But wow 15k out of anything but oil is stupid. They should be embarrassed
