Koni FSD shocks

interesting flyer http://www.koni.com/fileadmin/user_u..._2100-4108.pdf
bottom line, the FSD provides much better handling, steering, and comfort than the OEM, but I cannot find anywhere to buy them; the koni heavy tracks are shown for sale at a few places, but they are not the same; anybody have any idea where ?

Re: Koni FSD shocks

I Contacted Koni US, and they said they are not aware of this FSD for the WK ?????
Confusing, as ther are several int'l websites showing these.

You can find both local and on-line dealers. Note that KONI calls the WK a WH in their choices.

Re: Koni FSD shocks

None of the dealers listed say they can get them, but I again contacted Koni US and provided a link with part numbers from the Koni EUR site as they are manufactured / headquartered in the Netherlands; he checked again and said they can get them, but 6 week delivery estimated, and he will get me prices by Monday. I've had Koni's on 2 other cars and they dramatically improve handling, steering, braking,, and the FSD is also smoother over the bumps than stock. Also come with lifetime warrantee I'll be buying these and will report results.

Here is the tach info for the FSD http://www.koni.com/58.html These are not gas but hydraulic, automatically adjust to road and driving conditions and absorb bumps, unlike the high pressure (Bilstein) gas which essentially roll over bumps, and will be expected to provide a much smoother more controlled ride.

Re: Koni FSD shocks

Koni US cannot sell direct to customers so just got pricing from Tirerack on the FSD's; these will be available in January for the WK, and will be listed on their site then. $168 per strut/shock. I've read on other forums (BMW, etc..) where these are much smoother riding than Bilsteins and also provide great handling. Just wish I could get them before the snow flies around here....
