Keyless-Go

Is the engine start/stop button suppose to be backlit?
Mine isn't and I suspect that's a fault.:(

Without looking I can't say for sure, but I don't believe mine is backlit either.

Re: Keyless-Go

Since it is a piece of plastic that just pops out, so you can put the key fob in there like a standard key, I doubt it.

Not supposed to be backlit.

Thanks for the feedback. It just seems odd that it's not visible. My previous Jeep with key igniton had a ring of light and my Audi with push button is also lit.
It's minor but seeing that they even backlit the front side pockets, door release handles, etc., I just expected it.

I agree that it is odd that start button has no light given all the other things that do.
I would also like to see some illumination on the windshield wiper control. The rain sense feature helps but its strange what was chosen and what wasn't.

Re: Keyless-Go

Does the Keyless-Go button have a battery in it?

Of course, they could have illuminated the keyway bezel, I suppose, which would make that question moot.

And they should have, and something you'd expect in any level of vehicle. Strange omission here! With the button being removable, at least they didn't do the common bright red start button thing.

Their buttons are permanently mounted. The Jeep's is removable. Kinda hard to backlight a removable button. All it is is an insert, really.

Oh I didn't know the button came out! Then yeah that would be pretty hard to backlight. LOL
