burn out mod

i was hanging out with some guys with the srt8
and i know if the older models if you remove the first pink and the first yellow (or something like that) it does something to the tracton control so you can do burn outs

does anyone know how to do this for a 2008 3.7L???
also if someone knows how to do it for an 2008 srt8 because one of the guys was wondering how to do it since the fuse system is a little difference

thanks in advance

Re: burn out mod

Don't do it. If you do, you take the risk of burning your T-case.

Re: burn out mod

I don't think that SRTs have transfer cases since they use an AWD system, so the power for the TCS should be in the circut box thingy so you might be able to find it on WKjeeps.com or something like that.

^What?

Dude the SRT guys don't pull the fuses because doing so will take the risk of toasting your T-Case.

the SRT's do have TC's.

This was tried by some members on another forum and it couldnt be done on the non- SRT drivetrain.

except for debry geting in the holes where your axles used to be.

which raises the question, does the 2WD WK have cap off plates?

He said front drive shaft Dylan, meaning front tailshaft, NOT the front half shafts.

Re: burn out mod

ok... woah...

#1... anything with 4WD OR AWD has a Transfer Case...

#2.... removing a drive shaft only exposes DS flanges, which are flat metal, no open holes.

is there some kind of miss communication?

the TC is electronically controlled, if you pull a fuse, the TC cannot work the way it was made to, causing problems. These problems, compounded by spinning drive train parts and the power of a 6.1L SRT engine = bad news bears...
