use the stock gap that is recommended.

3.7 V6
Mopar p/n SPZFR6F11G (NGK)
(.042 gap, 6 plugs, tighten to 20 ft. lbs.)

+1 for B.P.O.D

WKJEEPS.COM is a great source (and a life saver) when used along with this forum!

It's on your hood, on a sticker

Re: best gapping for 3.7 spark plug?

checkers told 0.0375 with champion plugs thats why i was asking. i had 15000 on this park plugs took them off and the gaping was 0.055 so i re-gapped them to .035. motor seems lighter and mpg are going up but not by much

thanks for the replies it did answer my question

i will check my hood for that info

Re: best gapping for 3.7 spark plug?

I would gap them to .040 gap. This is what I set all the 4.7L plugs to.... the 3.7L uses the same coil packs and is basically the same engine as the 4.7L with two less cyliders.
