WK Brakes
I have a 09 WK limited. I've noticed that my back wheels get more brake dust on them than the front which seems strange to me. Usually the front wheels will get more brake dust than the rear. Also I only have 5k miles on it and already I'm hearing the brakes squeal. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Re: WK Brakes
Mine is an 08 and my back rotors were pretty chewed up after like 5-10k miles. I dont really hear any squeal but they are pretty worn after 26k

Re: WK Brakes
My back brakes are filthy while my fronts are pretty much spotless. I also have an 08.

Re: WK Brakes
Ok so it's not just me. Every other car i've had it was the front brakes that went first. Even my GF car is AWD and her front brakes ger the most dust on them.

Re: WK Brakes
MY 06 WK did the same thing when I had the stock brakes. I replaced the rears with bendix ceramics and it put an end to that

Re: WK Brakes
I have to recommend a nice set of Stillens when you're ready for rotors, they are the best as well as the pads they offer.

Re: WK Brakes
My rears squeal and make alot more dust then the front. Stock Garbage from the dealer i bought it from. Its getting all new brakes front and back from R1 concepts soon, i hope.

Re: WK Brakes
Add another to the list of people who's rear brakes make more dust than the fronts. Are the rear stockers ceramic? I don't think ANY of them are as much as I've had to clean these wheels...

Re: WK Brakes
Hmmmmm, strange, I have an '05 and dust is just about the same front and rear. I'll see how the new Duralast Gold are after a few miles.

I use those when its time for replacements.

Very very very low dust pads. (They are ceramic after all). They stop well too.

Re: WK Brakes
So if my rotors are fine and I don't have any vibration to the wheel at all, could I just upgrade the pads w/o new rotors?
