New here looking for advice.

I just bought a 2007 overland hemi and was warned numerous times that they have plenty of problems I was wondering if this is true and what I can do to prevent any problems.

Thanks for the help.
(so far im lovin the jeep)

basic maintenance, change fluids whenever the service intervals require you to and just take good care of it don't neglect the basic care

check on www.wkjeeps.com for the basic maintenance schedule and to learn more about the jeep in general too as in features

welcome to the forum and enjoy

They dont have THAT many problems as long as you take care of it like you would any other car/truck/suv!

Depends on what you mean by problems? My 05 has had the rearend rebuilt, door panels replaced, front differential replaced, window motor replaced, front bushings and end links replaced, T-Case solenoid replaced. Luckily most of mine was under warranty. Someone before me must have abused it. Funny though as there is not a dent/scratch one on the outside.

How many miles on it? If you just bought it, GO THROUGH EVERYTHING YOURSELF so you know the status of things. When I bought my 06 "one owner" Overland, nothing had been done. It was just driven, but did look pretty nice. It had 48K on it when I got it.....original plugs still in it, wrong weight oil (put in by the dealer), several outstanding TSB's that affected driveability and accessory function, Nav. joystick inop., high tail light intermittant, etc. Like everyone else says, be proactive, just do the scheduled maintenance and stay on top of things. I've had mine a year now, and everything works great. I love it. I am coming up on 60K (2500 more miles) now and am starting to collect parts/fluids to do the big maintenance inspection.
