What year to put for insurance paperwork?

2010 I assume, correct (I hope I do receive it this year)?

The vehicle is a 2011.... so the insurance paper work should show it as such.

I am not sure. Yes, model year is 2011 but it is made in 2010.

Can some of the owners chime in?

its still a 2011 Jeep...so you would put 2011. The Vin# wouldnt maatch up with a 2010 anyway when the agent eneters it into their system

Definitely 2011. You're buying insurance to protect and potentially replace parts or the whole enchilada expressly for the 2011 model.

Glad you're ok after prior vehicle total JS.

Yeah, get this: the car that rear-ended me has reportedly been stolen. It has become known to insurance company where that car was insured a month after the accident. They now warned me they may possibly disclaim any responsibility. I had one question for them: "If I were driving a stolen car - why would I waste time after the accident to remove number plates, registration and inspection stickers before running away?"

You put in the model year, not the year you purchase it.

I bought my 94 GC in December of 93 - - it's still a 94!

And can't wait to take a pic of the 2011 next to the 1993. Both in Green.

2011. That's the only number they care about. Because that's how they determine value On insurance cost for replacement parts, accident rates, etc.

whatever year is on your title is the ONLY answer.
