Lets talk flowmaster

so i love flowmaster.... and have been thinking about just throwing a 50 series in the jeep for a more agressive sound...
The decision is between the 50 HD, 50 Deltaflow or 50 SUV performance.

the DF and SUV are attractive because they reduce cabin noise, which is important.

any thoughts?

Stock is 2.5" in/out right?

Flowmaster or Magnaflow you can't go wrong.

Is cabin noise important to you for the little ones or you're just trying to prevent drone in general?

The Flowmaster SUV series will do it's best to provide great sound but keep it quiet in the cabin but with a 22" Magnaflow it's almost not lout enough but you do hear a nice tone when accelerating... If you want to bust out the big dollars, there is another muffler called "hushpower" made by Flowmaster.

I think w/ the 4.7 you should do 2.5" in/out, yes.

I love the sound of a nice loud exhaust, but i do a lot of highway driving and dont want to deal with the drone. I think i'll go with the 50 delta flow... louder than the SUV, but quieter than the HD

i have the 40 delta flow and its pretty loud out side, and inside is prettly mellow, they guy at the shop who did it said that the 50 wouldnt really sound that much different than the stocker muffler that i had. i also had my piping size increased from 2.5 (i think) to 3.

Re: Lets talk flowmaster

Do the magnaflow. When i had mine done they let me try both mufflers and the flowmaster droned way to much and sounded like garbage. I love my magnaflow.

50 series suv flowmaster, the best in sound, mild enough when cruising and aggressive at WOT!
