3.6L acceleration hesitation and shudder problem

My 3.6 GC Limited was built July 7. There was a TSB to flash the PCM in , I believe, August. Some shudder, stutter problems continued. The following was performed last week and appears to have smoothed everything out. That includes hesitation on launch and some shifting roughness in Auto mode. Check TSBs at wk2jeeps.com

Re: 3.6L acceleration hesitation and shudder problem

I have the 5.7L and now noticing that at highway speeds the engine doesn't feel smooth as if it's missing (very mild). Even my passenger noticed the unsmoothness.
Is this similar to what you had?

Thanks for the update Abby. Mine is going in for the exact same problem with hesitation and possible shudder. I will make sure to mention this to the dealer:)

Re: 3.6L acceleration hesitation and shudder problem

there is a thread covering this that I have merged like 3 others too. So please try to keep it to that thread so all 2011 owners can have one consise thread to go to.
