HAHAHA...sweet jesus man...I had the same issue, but i just beat the housing...not the surfaced part of the rotor. Hope you planned on replacing them from the beginning. Oh! and yes, talking dirty to her makes the job about 50% easier.

the money shot. Centric premium rotors, Akebono pads and POR-15 on the calipers

did you spray or brush your calipers?

thanks j.

blasted brakes were frightening before, high speed stops resulted in much vibration.

brush, por-15 is wonderful paint. Seems to self-level no matter what you do. Problem is, once you open the can you can expect the leftover amount to harden-up. I bought a quart and put it in small rubbermaid containers, but it still dried halfway through after 3 weeks or so. Had to crack the top layer to expose the fresh paint.

I'm pretty religious about the metal-prep phosphate pre-treatment, neutralizes the rust b4 you paint. Mind you, I did not soak the caliper, because of the rubber. First I degreased and scrubbed. Then I just hit it a couple times with the metal prep, somewhat avoiding the piston boots, let it sit a few minutes then rinsed clean.
