SRT8 REPS Question

My buddy wants the reps for his WJ but i know nothing about the rims. whats the difference between 20x9 and 20x10? the only thing i can guess is 20x9 are for the front and the 20x10 are for the rear but i'm not sure ? is it possible to get 20x10 for all four corners of the WJ? thanks in advance prob. an easy question i'm just not sure

Re: SRT8 REPS Question

the 20x10's require a spacer for the rear of the WJ.

Re: SRT8 REPS Question

scott now by a spacer are you saying a wheel spacer that increases the offset like these?

yes....the 20x10's rub on the WJ on the rear. No idea about 20x10 rep's all around....never seen that on a WJ

I personally suggest 20x9 since you wouldnt need spacers and its great to rotate.

Hey guys I just picked up a 2011 gc overland. I ordered my SRT8 reps today but the my friend's shop that I ordered them from said I cannot run 20x10 (rear) 20x9 (front) on the new 2011 models? I have to run 20x9 all the way around.... Is this true??

yea the shop said it's got something to do with the 4x4 system, if you run 20x9 (front) 20x10 (rear) it would mess up the 4x4 some how because the old srt8 were designed to run that?

i just got the 20x9 (all 4) for my 2011 JGC Overland and if i can run 20x10s in the rear later on i would definately order a pair of those too but it just snowed here today so these will be my winter rims and they go nicely with the magnaflow dual split exhaust! :D
