Re: radio question

i accidently ended up with the nav....put my bid in before I heard back from you guys...question though...seller states it is out of a 2009.....and he also states it is a high speed bus....I thought the 09's were a low speed bus....is there any way to confirm what speed the unit is?

Re: radio question

here is a link to the auction...from what I have read I don't understand how it could be a high speed bus considering what year jeep it came out of and the part number....what do you guys think? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT

If it came out of an 09 Grand Cherokee then it has to be low-speed bus, because all 2005-10 Grands are low speed. I just checked the part number via eBay search and the other ads all say its low speed. I think you got it for one heck of a deal and I'm sure it will work just fine.

RER Part number 5064737AD is definitely a low speed unit, check it out at http://wkjeeps.com/MyGIG_parts.htm search for " 5064737AD "

You got a wicked deal. I'm installing one of these in my 2007 this comming friday, I paid much more for mine:rolleyes:

You dont have to have the lockpick, but if you want to unlock the ability to enter addresses in the nav, watch movies while in drive and add aftermarket cameras, then it would make sense to get and install while your putting in the radio. If you dont want/need the lockpick just install the radio, be sure to ask the seller if he's including the gps antenna, if not then you need to purchase one, ive seen some on eBay for cheap. Good Luck:thumbsup:
