Front Suspension Noises

Hi All, I've been chasing a popping sound in the front of my WK all year. Stealership says everything is tight, but I hear the noise. I replaced the sway bar links and the noise didn't go away, but was quiet for a while, unfortunately it's very intermittent, and it started again. It only pops turning right and going over a bump (like my driveway apron) or heavy breaking. I tried to tighten the sway bar link bolt and broke it, left it disconnected and still get the pop turning the wheel. I've replaced the bolt with a new one from the dealer, and it still pops but this is driving me nuts.

It's a loud pop, almost sounds like it's under tension. Does the strut mount have a bearing plate that could make the noise?

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

No, the upper strut mount is all rubber. Check the sway-bar mounts. There's 2 large bolts per side, perhaps one or both are loose? Front end noises seem to be a common problem and tough to diagnose on these trucks.

Thanks for the tip, I'll check them out. I was thinking of replacing the front sway with the SRT bar, but I may just replace the bushings and see if that's my noise.
