730N Navigation maps outdated

Has anyone else experienced outdated maps on the 730N? My city had major highway construction last year. Seems like the maps are dated pre construction and tries to detour me around the construction. Which fustrates my wife who depends on the gps in our new city.

Is it a way to get the updated software from Jeep or my dealer?

It's terrible that a brand new car has out of date navigation maps.

I noticed the same thing and was very disappointed. I haven't talked to the dealer yet; however, I don't expect they'll do anything about it.

I hope everyone understands that on average your nav maps will be behind at least a year. After new road is built mapping company has to receive the data, merge it in the existing database, release map update (happens on the fixed schedule). Then whatever company made your Nav should receive this update for end-user product, integrate in their database, release update, test it and make it available for Chrysler/end user.

So if this is the case, where will I be able to get an update? Also how will I know a update is available?

Thanks for your help!

Exactly....these things aren't going to keep up with city construction especially if you live in a big city were construction never ends.....
