Tint Film or Tint Spray

For the head lights. Spray seems so much easier.....just looking to "tint" not black out.

I used VHT Nightshades on my tails and front turn signal reflectors. I had at one point tried to tint the headlights with it as well but it looked really blotchy when you turned the lights on. I'd say don't use spray over clear. There are films as well as plastic covers. Either of those should work. Best of luck!

One more option would be to paint the headlight bezels. Here's JDubya's how-to:

blotchiness was my concern with the HL's, thanks for the info!

I thought about this as well, had done it in the past with a previous car but didn't want to go through the entire process again although the results really are worth it. I'm considering tinting the front windows (drivers and passenger side) so if I can get the tint shop to do the HL's I'll go that route otherwise I may just bake myself a patty cake. lol

tinted film is your best bet...because it is reversible if you dont like it. Stay away from Rvinyl.

I had a professional tint shop use Lamin-X film on my headlights and they still look great 1 year later. I would not recommend painting the outside of the headlights.

I have used Lamin X as well on many vehicles. Great solution and easily reversible.
