Spidertrax 1.5" Spacers Installed

Hi All,

I ordered a set of spacers direct from Spidertrax on Monday. They showed up this morning and I wanted to get them on ASAP. They recommend loc-tite on the wheel studs (spacer to vehicle side) and when I took my front wheels off, I saw I was in need of new front brakes. I ran to the auto parts store and picked up a set of OE type rotors and ceramic pads. Slammed everything together and threw in a tire rotation too. Not too bad for having a 1 car garage in my townhome.

Finished pictures are below. I apologize for the dirty Jeep...it's going to snow tomorrow through the weekend and I don't want to waste a wash.

Old Brake Pads - They were in rough shape.

That's the plan, I've got the Jeepin' By Al control arms sitting on the floor and am getting the the OME HD lift relatively soon. I don't want to lift it until I can comfortably afford new tires at the same time.

OBX, have you adjusted your speedo for your tire size yet? I was going to go with the TRINITY, but I've been reading about issues regarding RFI plus it's over $500 - so was looking at the Predator and eventually a CMR tune, but am now looking at the new Superchips tuners - the upcoming Android device looks nice.

The tire size calibration on the Superchips is off. For my 255/70r17 Destinations it seems around 5mph off. It said my stock size was 28" but the 245/65r17 Scorpions I went from were 29.5." I programmed the Jeep for 30.25" tires and that seems correct at 65 mph according to my Magellan.

Thanks for the heads-up, I figured I'd need to do some testing with the Garmin to get it spot on.
