Blue jeans seem to be staining leather seats

I am seeing a very light color change in my drivers side leather seat.

Anyone else notice this ? Any suggestions on what to do , if anything ?

Same problem here. I'd just keep up with cleaning it. Comes with the territory of light interior I guess?
Or wear khakis.

Same thing happened recently on our passenger seat when the wife wore a brand new pair of jeans.
Still need to clean it.

Anyone know if Lexol or other conditioners/treatments will make the leather more resistant to this?

Found this....but kinda expensive. If it works, I guess its worth it.

That stuff works exceedingly well. When I sold my wife's cx-9 the light tan seat was basically blue. It cured the problem....well about 95% cured. I'll see if I can dig up some pics......

Any idea where it can be purchased? Didn't see a link in the article.

Magic Eraser will take all the stains and discoloration out. Just wipe lightly and it'll be all gone for $2

True, but I wonder if the magic eraser is too abrasive for the leather. Over some time, it may wear the leather out.

I've done it on all my light colored leather. (CLK500, Tahoe, G37) never had a problem. I do not rub real hard at all, because I was worried about that at first. It really only take a very light wipe and the dirt and stains are gone. Never had any problems with the leather getting worn out or show signs of splinters.

.... maybe take the time to lift a cheek when you fart and you wont discolor it....
