255/65/17 - Request for pics & question about rubbing

I'm looking to purchase some Michelin LTX M/S2's - 255/65/17. If anybody has a picture of a WK that has not been lifted yet with 255/65/17's and can post it, I'd really appreciate it. Also, if you have 255/65/17's on your vehicle and off road, can you tell me if the tires rub at all and how bad during a situation where the tires are fully turned and articulated into the wheel well. Thanks in advance.

I know they don't rub on road, but I suspect they rub off road. Another member on this forum said he installed 255/70/17's and had no rubbing issues, but when I asked about off roading, he didn't respond.

Awesome. Thank you so much for the pics and info. I just ordered them... they should be in Thursday or Friday =D

Also, nice work with the up-side-down camera snapping skills.

LOL, I was trying to get the flash to light up under the Jeep a little. I read that trick somewhere a while ago. I should shut off the date stamp thing too.
Good luck with the new tires.

Does this size tire fit in the spare location, I have a factory hitch on my WK and am looking for new tires and this size is what i'm looking for. I just need to make sure it fits the spare.

I have Hankook Dynapro ATM's at 265/65/17 and they don't rub anywhere at all. I couldn't imagine having problems with 255's.

I have 255/75/17 with no rubbing at all on road. If I hit a pothole, the tire does hit inside, but other than that it's cool.

Assuming you had to cut the bolt?

I did not have to cut the bolt. I used 1/4" spacers though.
