Snowboard Carrier

Anyone have any suggestions on where or which one is the best to order?

I personally like the Yakima fatcat

Me too, but Yakima doesn't make a tower that will fit the new Jeep. The guys at Rack Attack said they have been taking the OEM rails off and replacing with a Rack Attack branded rail that's much longer (I have yet to see one driving around though). Then you can use Yakima, Thule etc. Cost for new rails and install is around $300, but they will drill into the roof as another post on here has stated, and then you need to buy the towers, bars, etc. Your options are: 1) buy the mopar crossbars and add the accessories, 2) have Rack Attack remove the current rails and install their own, or 3) wait it out and hope a manufacturer will design a tower specifically to Jeep's new rails.

At least, these are the options I was told about. Still throwing my skis in the back for now.

I was ready to do the Rack Attack rail replacements until they balked at showing me their rail mount methods. They claimed it was proprietary and didn't want to reveal their attachment methods. Sounded like it involved an expanding bolt or fastener system that avoided putting washers and nuts on the underside of the rooftop.

While the system looks rock solid relative to stock and comes with a lifetime guarantee, I sure as hell want to see how something is attached to my rig especially involving new holes drilled into the rooftop. It also aint cheap as TNR shows above.
