rattle

Any Laredo E V6 owners notice an annoying rattle while sitting at a light? The rattle sounds like it's coming from inside the dashboard behind the stereo or vents area. Loose screw?

Have to checked your sunglass holder? Numerous people have the mysterious rattle and it happens to be the glasses.

I already checked that, I think. I will check it again the next time it happens. Doesn't happen all the time though. Thanks.

Happened on the way home. It's not the sunglass holder, but I grabbed the mirror and what do you know, the noise stops. So it's either the mirror or it could be the wire cover running down to the mirror. I find this interesting as I had sort of the same noise with my 1998 ZJ and it was the wire coming out of the headliner to the mirror. I guess I will take a closer look at the mirror, maybe a screw is loose.

Do you have the camera and rain sensors on yours? Might be one of those covers.

I am glad you pinpointed it - this can be annoying. I also had 98 ZJ and it had screws there in mirror mount. Even though I tightened them mirror would still vibrate slightly at high speed (but it was not making the noise)

Neither, just the Convenience Group. But now that I know where it's coming from I guess it's not as annoying. Could be just the cable connected to the mirror or even the connector itself. I'm going to take a closer look today.
