Backspacing for WJ Rims
I have a 2001 WJ that I want to put new rims on. The stock backspacing is set at 6". I would like to do Black Rock Rims with a 4" back spacing. Will these rims clear my fenders assuming i keep the stock size tires?

My master plan is to space out my rims 2" on either side and then do a 2-3" budget boost kit. I have spoken to OK4wd in NJ and was told that i would maintain the same stability by going this route.

These are the rims i am looking at:

Please, any advise/hints/help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: Backspacing for WJ Rims
I have those same style wheels except with 5" spacing, 265/70/16 and 2.5" lift coils. I have very slight rubbing when i back up only (havent trimmed anything). 4" spacing looks goofy to me unless your running 33's or larger. My setups stick out 1/4" past my fenders. I wish I had some good pictures to show you... Ill try to dig one up.

Only pic I have, another inch sticking out would look bad in my eyes.

Re: Backspacing for WJ Rims
^^thanks for the help. does it drive the same? and 1/4in beyond the fenders, personally i like that look. you are right, 1in past the fenders may be extreme.
