LED light strip along lower front bumper.
I haven't been on here in awhile, curious if anyone has done this with good results. I have two 14" LEDLITZ light strips. I got them at an auto store, they work at 12volts and the LEDs are encased in a clear rubber. They can be cut to any length easy, since its not just a cover or sleeve over the leds. Was going to try it today. Also curious where id splice into, since I have HID fogs and lows and LED turn/parking lights. I don't want them to blink so my best bet with be with the fog wires before the relays? Or after the relays?

Re: LED light strip along lower front bumper.
where are you thinking of mounting them? I think they would look best recessed into the bumper

Re: LED light strip along lower front bumper.
These strips I bought actually have the LEDs mounts along the edge and the light is emitted from the side/edge of the LEDs instead of the front face. Basically these appear to be made for mounting along the side of something. Was thinking along the underside of the front air dam, where it returns back into the car. That would be the lowest mounting point, and during the day they wouldn't be visible, like something just stuck on the face of the bumper would be. Id take a pic of the lights if I wasn't on my phone right now.

Im messing around with them right now. I just don't really know where I should safely splice them in to. The low beams before my HID relays, my fogs before the HID relays, or is it safe to do after the relays before the ballasts? If I spliced them before the relays then im thinking they would shut off after the relays switched on, correct? Also is there an extra empty relay of fuse holder under the hood I can splice into?

Personally, when I have wired things In I like to wire them into the park lamp circuit so when its getting darker but not to the point of needing headlamps you dont need to have the headlights on. That way it is also on when the headlamps are on.
