Design flaw?

Has anyone noticed a slight "kink" in the left rear body panel? Just in front (about an inch or two) of the fuel filler cap.
Almost looks like a dent you pick up by someone opening a door against your car. I checked all the WK2's on the showroom floor and they ALL had it to some extent.
Mine is the worst from all of them as luck would have it, but dealer said they will sort it out at no cost. After looking into it some more, it seems that when you open the fuel filler cap, the actual hinge that is attached to the inside of the panel pulls/stretches the sheet metal and this is how the kink/dent develops. I am sure it will be fine if the cap is never pulled open by hand further than it was designed to go, but you know how some attendants are at fuel stations.
Anyone else have this problem?

Don't have that problem here. The only attendants we have are inside behind the cash register.

I thought you might say that. Not allowed to pump your own gas here.

Just looked at mine and it seems fine no dents.

I will post a photo tomorrow, but I must admit it is very slight. Must look at the right angle. It could also be that there was just one fool refueling all these cars at this dealer. OR the Export models are different from yours.

I've seen what you may be referring to in certain light. Will try to take a photo later, but doubt is is enough to pick up.

Congrats and enjoy your new rig DC.

Possibly something that occured during shipment. Not sure if they have dent removal specialists over in Dubai but if there are, one would probably be able to fix that without any problems.
