Wheels & Tires

Ok so its time to start gearing up for some wheels and tires. I have an Overland with QL. I want to stick with 20's but my question is what tire should I go with? I want something off-road but I dont know how big I can go without rubbing. The 2 wheel sizes I am considering are 20x8 and 20x9.5.

Both will fit just confused on tires really. Any help would be awesome.

Personally, I like the top one; however, I like the standard Overland 20s even better. To each his own.

RG, you may want to start with basics for an 18" wheelset for AT/offroad. The 20's could take a beating off pavement, which would be sad given how damn nice they are. Some have suggested a 17" wheel may not fit over the HD brake calipers, though this is unclear.

So with that in mind 18" stock rubber is 265/60/18 which is 30.5" diameter. Others JG members have gone slightly larger, maybe up to 31.5" without rubbing. Can't recall, maybe try a search or they will chime in here.

An 18" stock wheel for the JGC has the following parameters:

18 X 8
5-125 bolt pattern
+56.4 offset

I recall those top KMC Rockstars in your OP may have enough offset, but the bottom XD versions did not. You can get away with as little as say +40 to +45 offset on the WK2, but the wheels will stick out a bit, not too bad for AT.

As you can see I just defaulted to the black Mopar 18" which are solid for winter/AT, but not as stylin as those Rockstars.

I was waiting for your response lol. Thanks dude. I was thinking of going with the black Mopars but to be honest I can get the rockstars cheaper.

Either way I need to stop draggin ass on this and get it done. If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know.
