Surveys From Chrysler

I have owned three JGC and this is the first time that Chrysler has contacted me for feedback. First they called asking how the dealer was. Now I have gotten two emails asking to take surveys. The first survey was about options that I would like to see on the future models and the second email survey that came a week later, was asking if I had any complaints or issues with any part of my new Jeep and to submit what issues I was having. The survey also asked for a callback number so someone from Chrysler could call me back and talk about any issues that I might be having. I thought this was nice and that maybe Chrysler is really taking quality serious now, and listing to their customers. Anybody else been contacted?:)

They called me yesterday but I was in a meeting; haven't called back yet.

They e-mailed me a survey, but all it wanted was demograghic info. Age, gender, marital status, income range optional.

I had an emailed survey regarding the options and features I found important.

When they asked "What features did you want but were unavailable?" the only thing I could think of (so I DID put it down) was "rocket launcher."

I've always been fond of mounted gatling cannons.

I got a couple of surveys also, I blasted the finance guy from the dealership on it because the little scammer tried to sneak in some kind of vin etching/car theft BS that was like $3k.

Went back to the dealership and made him redo the financing contract or I told him just give me my trade in back and F off.

Have to watch those guys there a bunch of sneaky little pr*cks.

That's pretty cool and definitely a big plus on Chrysler side.

I'd also be curious to see how they commit to those responses, by customers talking bad about certain dealers and so on...

Being from same area as you, I have to agree. It's buyer beware!

Bought 4 new cars in last 5 years. Unbeliveable how much sleeze there is in the industry. Fortunately I know how to beat them at their own game.
Picking up new GC tomorrow. So far my current dealer has been courteous and knowledgeable.

My Overland got to the dealer late Thursday. Its being prepped and I will pick it up on Monday. We also recently bought a Honda car for my wife.

The Honda dealer spent an hour + going over every operational gadget in detail. Even hooked up my wife's cell phone, explained all radio and HVAC functions, introduced the service manager, etc.

Too often after doing the paperwork, I've been handed the keys and told to read the manual. To be fair, cars were not as complicated in time gone by. While I don't "need my hand held"....the Honda dealer got allot of points with us by spending that time to explain everything. Every dealer should buy a car from this Honda dealer to see how it's done.

I always have this feeling that Jeep / Chrysler dealers are still operating back in the 80's...but have nothing to base that on as this is my first new JGC. So...it will be interesting to see how my dealer compares. Many brands have raised the bar IMO.

For what it's worth, I did get the 45 minute spiel on every single thing in the Jeep at delivery. To the point where I was thinking, OK OK, I get it, I'm ready to go drive it now, lol. :slapfight:

NY/NJ area does seem sleezy. Luckily my wife is an accountant and can crunch numbers in her head faster then they can press the buttons on the calculator.

Re: Surveys From Chrysler

I got an email survey on the vehicle overall. It was followed up by 2 calls from Chrysler seeking additional information, but we haven't been able to connect.

I'm really glad to see this. This is my 6th Jeep and the first they've cared to ask about !
