wind caught the door...
and now it doesn't shut right. Its certainly tweaked. How'd one fix this? If i could adjust the door latch it'll be ok, little bit tweaked, but it wouldn't make wind noise as I drive. Sadly for what i could see and what I messed with in 20* with wind weather... its all fixed locations for the latch on the body and the door.

And insight?

Re: wind caught the door...
You just bent the hinge out of alignement.

Get a used one at a junk yard, cheap. Going to cost more to paint then to buy it.

Gotta love these cold Nebraska winds... Really sucks what happened to your door, there is a pretty good junk yard on 60th street that you might be able to get a hinge from really cheap.

Re: wind caught the door...
Lol.. i was just at that place but a few weeks ago. I was at the walmart on 72nd and giles... big north gust just wailed through as i opened the door and i thought it was going to fold over to the fender.

Looks like I'll shop around for some hinges. Thanks for heads up that they sell just that... I'll have to get over to my parents garage where I'll not freeze to death and do this. Less you want to help out Sport and have a heated garage :P

Glad to help, but since I live in an apartment my access to a garage is limited. :-/
