Wheelskins, worth it?

Looking for a quick low budget mod, and I forgot about these.

Worth my 70$?

Re: Wheelskins, worth it?

Personally, i say no, i dont think they look right unless you are looking at the face, from the side of the jeep you can see how much they stock off the rim/tire and it looks like crap. But not many people actually notice that. Otherwise i think it will look nice with chrome wheels on your jeep.

Also they hold in dirt and water and road salt and can prematurely ruin the finish on the stock aluminum wheels.

Wait a few months and buy my stock limited wheels, they are not chrome but machined finish.

Hemi jon: I thought you had a limited with the chrome clad limited wheels?

FYI all jeep chrome wheels are a plastic chrome clad cover on a base aluminum wheel behind it. So they can be replaced if damaged in an accident or on a curb.

He is looking at the laredo chrome covers for the stock silver wheels.

I was thinking $350 for JG members for 5 wheels with stock forteras on them with prolly 20% tread left.

If noone on here wants them they are going on ebay for $4/500 ish.

Re: Wheelskins, worth it?

Not a problem. Its all up to Ducks Unlimited, i am buying his overland 18" wheels. Once he gets his new ones he is gonna ship me the 5 18's. Then i just need to get my new tires. Dont worry once i am ready you will see the for sale ad.

And yes they are the machined 1 piece aluminum limited and rocky mount edition wheels (w/o the dark inside spokes) They are in my sig pic.
