i got 20% over stock, which IIRC equates to like a 12-14% tint...in cali we cant do the fronts so they are crystal clear. what are you going for? FYI - my 20% over stock is perfect for me, you cannot see in day or night, but is not too dark at night when you are looking out.

here is a good pic...

Im not sure what I have but my fronts and rears are pretty dark (got it that way)... funny story, we take the dog in the back of the jeep (put the back seats down) and I had the sunroof shade open and the back windows down for air for the pooch, aka you can see into the car because the added light, and my wife was totally staring this chick down at this stoplight because she thought she couldnt be seen... after I explained to her that she could totally be seen she responded with "well that would have been good to know before that".

i did 35% over stock rears in wk2 being sold that 3m film had to be added for true heat reflection. even if i got suckered, it did darken up the rear enough that it's tough to see out of at night. 20% fronts also took a bit to get used to seeing out at night without ambient street lighting. obviously, during the day, both are great.

can't imagine going to 5% but plenty do. 08H, your tints look great with the white WK on black wheelset.

I went with 20% on the front windows and halfway down the windshield and it matches my factory tint perfectly ('06 WK). I think unless your do something to the back windows, going with 5% on the front will make them look too dark, especially during the day. Not to mention you are going to have a hard time see out them at night, I can barely see with mine! Go with 20%

I have 15% in the front and 35% covering the remainder of the windows in the back. Not sure where you live and how strict the cops are. if you do 20% you will be happy. 5% means that you will need to open your door to reverse at night

Ever drive a vehicle with 5% on the front windows?

Try making a left hand turn, in the nightime on dark or unlit streets/roads with 5% tint on the windows...

Go with 20% ( or 15 if you "have to").

Oh, and it's "tint", not "tints" ;)

20% if you are doing the front windshield at 50% and 15% on the fronts if you are not doing the whole windshield.

5% on everything except the front windshield... 15% on the entire front windshield.
