So no spacers or anything right. Have you pushed things at all off-road with flexing? Just curious I've been asking around the garage alot since I'm deciding on going to the 275/55 or your size It seems like there' alittle more breathing room with your size other than the width. I might get the leveling kit at one point, but wanted to just plug and play with the tires first. thanks!

265/50R20 Overall Diameter 30.50 Section Width 10.90 Tread Width 8.3
275/55R20 Overall Diameter 31.93 Section Width 11.22 Tread Width 9.3
Change +1.43" +.32" +1.00"
285/50R20 Overall Diameter 31.29 Section Width 11.63 Tread Width 9.73
change + .79" +.73" +1.43"

there are the numbers
55 tire will be much taller and might rub off road more than the 50

So no running on the insides either? This may be the answer I've been looking for.

Re: 285 50/r20

The 285/50/20 would give you more fender clearance then the 275/55/20 but would bring you closer to the A arm and the stud/ball joint correct?

Re: 285 50/r20

Yup, shorter sidewalls, but wider tread pattern by 10mm, so the tire will be wider on the wheel.

Based on your sig looks like your no stranger to off-road. Do you thing the 285/50 is a safer bet if I want to do some moderate off road compared to the 275/55 in terms of flex or anything else that I might encounter off-road. Been deciding on these two sizes forever on a stock 2014 suspension.

Re: 285 50/r20

I think either would probably work, but you'd get a tad more uptravel without making contact with the wheel well either the 50 series sidewall.
