Thinking about trying this...

I'm always pissed when companies have to dumb down their products to keep morons from doing stupid things.

In this case I'm talking about Jeep removing the glass latch button from the remote because people were too stupid to understand it. But then I saw this!

I think I'll try it. Anyone believe that it won't work?

Nice. They should make the 6th button activate a "Trunk Monkey" in case of a car-jack.

"All right" (High Fives) "Back in the trunk".

BPM, I thought the later builds excluded the flipper glass button on the fobik? Never had a problem with mine. Yet.

They'd have been better to just change the symbol on the flippin' button. The problem wasn't so much on the part of the user, it was on the part of a hungover graphic designer figuring "aw, screw it, that's good enough, I need an aspirin."

From what I heard during an engineer bud's beer drinking session, the probable reason the flipper button was axed has to do with minimal consumer interest/need and the fact that the button is oftentimes accidentally pressed while in-pocket/purse unbeknown to the owner. We have an Expedition and I did often find when I sat down near the truck I'd hear that click-clunk noise of my Expedition's glass popping open. I fixed it by breaking the flipper button. My WK2 does not have the flipper glass button and I'm not missing it.
