Stock tires with lift kit?

I bought a 07 3.7l gc laredo. It's all stock with 18000 miles. I would like to put a small lift kit on it just for looks. I don't want anything too big so that it won't look good with stock wheels. It will not be going off road, just some on-road snow possibly. Can anyone recommend a good, inexpensive kit that would maintain factory ride quality and stock tires. Hopefully one I can install myself in my garage with hand tools? Thank-you all!

I hear that Old Man EMU is the best riding small lift you can get.

;)

the search function works well on the forum too, not to mention the elevendybillion threads on lifts... there is more information in threads already made than you will EVER get in any single response in a thread you make. I say that to be informative not a jerk.

For example there is a sticky on lifts, check it out ;)

Ok, I'm looking at going with the rocky_road 2.25" lift kit. Will this work with my stock wheels? If not, or I decide to go with bigger tires, can I get at bigger tire on my stock rim? I am trying to avoid buying rims and tires. What tire would look good on my stock rim with this kit? I do not want to get into spacers and stuff I have no idea about... also with a bigger tire, would that throw my speedometer reading off?

You can run stock wheels with bigger tires. I as well as plenty others on here are running that setup. WSP Jeep and BlackedOutWK are a couple.
