Mopar Premium Edition Chrome Group (Jan 17 2011)

Trying to find out what this entails and whether I should wait for it. I searched and can't find a clear answer what differentiates this from the "Regular" Mopar Chrome Edition Group that is already available for ordering.

Is it a new grille?

Thanks

you shouldn't wait and you should order the tacky "chrome" group at all...car has too much chrome on it already.

LOL thanks... I was fully expecting a series of opinionated posts before receiving an actual answer to my question :)

LOL...Well, it's hard to tell right now. My guess it has the chrome 20" Mopar-wheels and/or the the chrome grille which isn't part of the "normal" chrome-package.

If you like that much chrome or not is simple a personal preference. I don't like the chrome-grille (looks a bit artifical and "aftermarket") but like the fog-light bezels as well as the tubular step-bars and entry-guards. Since the WK2 already comes with a lot of chrome, these few additions won't make a difference.

In my opinion, it's "either"/"or": You either go through with the chrome-line on a car or you don't add any chrome at all - like BMW offers with their "shadow-line" option. On the Porsche Cayenne, you have similar options.

However, I do understand that such a huge variety of choices is simply not available on a car that already has such a great "bang for the buck" like the WK2.

But anyway, that's just my personal opinion.
