RRT Recalls

I have not looked to see if someone has already addressed these issues but I just got off the phone with my Jeep service department.

Apparently there are two Rapid Response Transmittal (RRT) recalls that have been issued recently.

I took my 2011 Limited GC in this morning because the Passive Entry Mechanism (PEM) /Remote Start/Unlocking Approach has not been working.

The tech told me that not only did they NOT finish today but there are two RRT recalls issued that must be taken care of. Apparently one has to do with the flash software and the other is an actual part they ordered for the rear suspension.

I overheard: RRT 056 & RRT 079 (I think).

And of course there are no details via google.

ANY INSIGHT ANYONE?

Other trips to the service department include:
Easy exist seat malfunction (twice)
Side mirror tilt malfunction
Driver memory settings malfunctioning
Push start turn over malfuction
Water accumulation in front left wheel well (which caused sloshing noise)

Re: RRT Recalls

No RRT's have been issued for the 2011 WK.

As far as the PEM, they may be referring to this:

Case Number: S1008000011
Release Date: 2010-08-18

Symptom/Vehicle Issue:
Keyless Go or Passive Entry Inoperative Active Antenna Faults B1A71-01-PASSIVE ENTRY
ANTENNA 1 / B1A72-01-PASSIVE ENTRY ANTENNA 2 / B1A73-01-PASSIVE ENTRY ANTENNA 3
/ B1A74-01-PASSIVE ENTRY ANTENNA 4

Diagnosis:
Customer or Dealer will find inoperative passive entry and keyless go. (This condition only affects passive functions). No EVIC message will be found indicating an error. Checking fault codes will find an Active Antenna Fault from any one of the 4 antenna's (1 or 2 or 3 or 4). This may be caused by a faulty internal component within the PEM.

I forgot they are now combining some of RRT's into TSB's...

The complete list of all bulletins issued to date can be found at this link:

Re: RRT Recalls

There are at least 6 or 7 RRT's for 2011 WK's. 10-056 is the PEM flash.10-079 is the rear upper shock mounts. There is also 10-082 for rack and pinion leak,10-081 for a water leak,10-069 for steering wheel off center,10-053 exhaust leak,10-049 flash for the shudder, and there is another one for the upper shock mounts 10-065.And yes a lot of RRT's get combined with TSB's now
