Golf Clubs?

Hi everyone,

A search shows some scattered mention of clubs, but I was just curious if anyone has (or cares as much as I do) been able to get their clubs in the back sideways? I haven't tried it myself, but curious if anyone has or if it matters to them?

Thanks,
-Ryan

I did on test drive of a base laredo. Nike carry bag with stand legs. I don't think it would have worked on higher trim levels since I made use of the passenger side cubby which I believe is where the subwoofer might be placed in those models.

My bag doesn't quite fit in sideways, I have to have it in a little turned. If I remember correctly this was the same with my WJ. See the pic below, I tried to lighten it up but a black bag on top of the black interior taken at night makes it a tough picture.

Callaway Walk Bag
Callaway Big Bertha 460 Driver
Ping i5 Irons

All standard cut length if that helps with the sizing.

Here are shots which show the extra space on the passenger side of the laredo that is not available when the subwoofer is present.

^ This is what I've seen too and it also depends on how long your clubs are. The really tall folks might be SOL regardless but other than that the subwoofer housing of Laredo-X and up models cuts space for clubs to be placed sideways.

Re: Golf Clubs?

I typically golf with a foursome and we've been able to fit all our clubs in the back of my Limited with few problems. The clubs (in stand bags) all fit crossways but some are pretty tight against the subwoofer. The is a bit of extra room ahead of the subwoofer and one set of clubs fits there, right up against the back seat. Another set of clubs piles on top of that one. The other two sets need to be angled a bit so as to fit in and not mash the subwoofer. One of our players has an extra length driver and that has to come out of the bag and get put on top of everything.
